Civil Engineer – Morgantown, WV

Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC (D&H) is currently seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our growing engineering design team in our Morgantown, WV office. The qualified individual will work within our design team to generate construction and permit plans for our energy, land development and state and local government clients.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Design and produce of engineering plans and project documents including:
  • Grading and earthwork calculations
  • Storm drainage design
  • Culvert design
  • Ditch design
  • Prepare hydraulics report
• Aid in creating scope of work documents and project schedules.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings
• Work and collaborate with design team within a face-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in civil engineering design with a focus in land development preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiar with local municipality standards is a plus.
• Professional Engineer in WV, PA or OH preferred.
